One of the most impactful transformations in our internal processes came from the work of Robin Rosi, who identified a major opportunity to enhance knowledge-sharing and led the charge to make it a reality: the overhaul of Sparkrock’s intranet.

Robin: “I recognized an opportunity to improve how employees across the organization accessed and shared information. Having a central, user-friendly intranet would not only enhance the employee experience but also improve efficiency and collaboration. I wanted to create a system that would benefit employees, the organization, and ultimately our clients by ensuring quick and easy access to critical resources.”

Robin: “Sparkrock’s values were at the heart of this transformation. ‘Own It’ encouraged me to take full responsibility for ensuring the intranet was not just a tool but a valuable resource. ‘Make It Easy for Each Other’ pushed me to streamline processes and eliminate redundant tasks, making daily operations smoother for employees. ‘Co-Create Trust’ was essential in building a system that employees could rely on, ensuring transparency and accessibility. Finally, ‘Always Improve’ motivated me to continually refine and enhance the platform to meet Sparkrock’s evolving needs.”

Robin: “Over four and a half months, I single-handedly restructured Confluence. I started by cleaning up outdated content and designing an intuitive layout. I developed tailored team pages and introduced an engagement hub for company-wide updates. It was important to create a logical flow, making resources easily searchable and accessible.”

Robin: “Absolutely. Change is difficult, and many employees were used to their existing processes. Some were hesitant about moving to a new system. To gain buy-in, I worked closely with teams, addressed their concerns, and demonstrated how the new intranet would make their work easier. The key was fostering trust and clear communication.”

Robin: “The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, particularly from new hires. Onboarding is now much smoother, as employees have a clear place to find essential resources. Teams collaborate more efficiently, and employees spend less time searching for information. The engagement hub has also been a success, keeping everyone informed about company-wide initiatives.”

Robin: “I learned that taking ownership and driving change requires both persistence and strong relationships. Having the trust of leadership allowed me to push for improvements, and being empathetic to employees’ concerns helped in making the transition smooth. It’s been rewarding to see the positive impact this project has had on the organization.”

Robin: “There’s always room to improve! One of my next focuses is enhancing Sparkrock University to provide better training resources. I want to ensure that employees stay up to date with product knowledge, ultimately benefiting our clients as well. Continuous improvement is key to long-term success.”
